Re: Isthmical-Cervical_ectopic_pregnancyFrom: dani (danymarg@movi.com.ar)Wed Jun 6 18:52:31 2001
I have lot of experience in cervical pregnancies ( I have seen 5 ) the bigger 14 weeks. We did try methotrexate IV and even methotrexate intra amniotic. Did not work in stopping the pregnancy but it did work in lessen retroplacental blood vessel. Last one we did Methotresate IV and potassium chloride to stop the pregnancy. A couple of days latter we did the DNC and put a Folley at the cervical canal to make compression to the placental bed. Day by day we withdraw a little quantity of fluid from the catheter and day 7 the Folley fall down. This patient had a second pregnancy ( normal ) with a vaginal delivery at 39 weeks uneventfully. -----Original Message----- From: Cecilia L. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
