I agree Terry - If you want to be compatible with the vast majority of your colleagues DON"T GO MAC! My opinion and that of my IT person is that P3 with large amounts of RAM and at least 10 Gig of hard drive and the latest Windows 2000 operating system will do well. It's also important to get the best video and sound card you can afford. Cheers Sue

Egaarrr! I knew this would raise it's ugly head again.... NO to APPLES!! True, MOST viruses don't affect Macs... know why? Because Macs just aren't compatible with most of the world.... that is why they only have about 15% of the PC market. You'll need all new software... all new everything!

Sorry Josh... just couldn't let that one pass.... ;-)

Radical alternative: get a Mac! Elegant operating system, great graphics, intuitive programs (even I can figure out how to use it). Best of all: those viruses that have been getting passed around don't infect Macs.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
