Eric Jauniaux from UCL, London, UK has done extensive research on the contents of the extracoelomic cavity and potential diagnostic use of them (though what is called coelocentesis). See his original works or Bui T-H, Deprest JA, Jauniaux E, Wilson RD. Current perspectives and new developments in ultrasound guided invasive procedures for prenatal diagnosis and therapy. In: R. Jaffe and T-H Bui, eds. Textbook of Fetal Ultrasound. New York & London: The Parthenon Publishing Group, 1999, chap. 17, 259-286.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
