Informal Case: Focal Myometrial Contraction

My wife has sever abdominal pain, and has just taken an MRI to find out ... report shows no conclusive abnormailities, but mention is made of :

" incidental note of uncomplicated subserosal myometrial fibroma measugin appx 1.5 cm in its maximum dimension "

could this cause swelling of the tummy [ very excessive ] and great pain in left hand lower abdomen ? We are at a loss as to find out what could be wrong.
