hello... i've had my iud for approximately one year.... i've been spotting for the last few weeks, but no pain or discomfort.... i reached in and checked for the string...the string feels lower than before and blood came oozing out...then stopped.... could the iud be inside my vagina? thanks for any help....sami

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
