Informal Case:GastroschisisFrom: DALLAS JONES (dallasjones@smartone.co.uk)Tue Apr 10 09:42:26 2001
I am 17 weeks pregnant, yesterday my baby was diagnosed with having this condition Gastroschisis. My consultant carried out an amniocentisis for which I must await the results. Could you please advise me how common the condition Gastroschisis is? Also what other abnormalities are connected with this condition? I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, Kind Regards Dallas Jones

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
