regarding inflating the balloon with air vs. water: air is much easier and quicker. Especially if you are going to keep the balloon within the endocervical canal, it is not going to be in the way of the sonohysterogram. But, if you do not mind the extra fuss, sterile water or saline is ok too. Allen

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
