actually this brings up a more important issue - ultrasound, or any imaging modality for that matter, is pretty good at telling you that something's there. it doesn't tell you what it is. that's why reports are couched in delphic oracle modifiers - "most likely, consistent with", etc. and often end with the infamous "clinical correlation is recommended." just my opinion - i could be wrong. art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
