Terry I love it when bright students challenge me but when they refer to a specific wording in a text I always ask immediately what is the publishing date, who is the author, etc. as many times older text contain confusing or old information. I have always understood the term adnexa to be a broad referance to an appendage or accessory of an organ and not specific to anterior/posterior, etc. Maybe we have been misinformed??? Good luck and tell your student to keep up the challenges, Lynne Schreiber, Assoc. Professor Dir. DMS Programs Jackson Community College

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
