I had a pelvic TV. Findings: There is hyperechoic lesion in the right side of the uterus and on the left side of the uterus. Impression: Two fibroids noted. They are somewhat unusual in that they are hyperdense. What does hyperechoic mean? And what should the follow up be?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
