I have experienced these 'mock arcuate' fundal contractions and have certainly been fooled. they impinge the uterine cavity just like all focal ctx's. I am not sure how sweeping in a longitudinal plane can help in these cases. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
