Echogenic round 2mm focusFrom: SSOESQ@aol.comFri Jan 19 00:00:37 2001
I too have the same echogenic foci (one in baby's diaphragm, the other near the liver). This is my second pregnancy; I am 26 with an "unremarkable" history as well. I also had echogenic bowel which has been disappearing and is virtually gone. My amnio and other tests came back normal, but the two foci (about 4 mm each) are still present and remain constant in size. Any words of reassurance? I am due in one month. Sharon

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
