My looking for them in the Net have brought nothing. To-day seen a 22 year woman who came to have the follow up sono on her 22 cycle day (28). 2 months back her endometrium M-echo19 mm (24 day) thick was very unusual looking as though containing small polyps. Clinically menstrual disorder: long postmenstrual bleeding. On my conclusion on hyperplasia and recommendation she had diagnostic curretage that stopped bleeding but revealed no patho either on operation or hystologically. She waited another 2 months, i.e. one month after abrasio, then another after menstruation which was usual. My surprise it was when I found the cavity fulled with multiple cysts: thin walled, well marginated, of different size, the biggest 20 x17 mm. Endometrium resembling polycystic ovary. I have never seen anything of the like before. M-echo 22 mm. She told he had no intercorse after curretage, but had it in the last cycle. All the same the origine is very unclear.
