The Delta is the difference from a baseline curve. OD is optical density. 450 is at 450 nanometers. So it is the increased absorbance at 450 nm versus elsewhere in the spectrum. This is the classical way to measure bilirubin in the amniotic fluid, and the basis of Liley's curve and Zones of fetal risk of this value versus gestational age.
