For access via umbilicus use a small footprint phased array probe & lots of gel. A trick I heard, I think from Ilan Timor, and I used as recently as last week, is to use an endfire vaginal probe. It fits well, though a bit awkward to hold due to the length of the transducer handle & the placement of the cord. Gives a small footprint & high frequency. Probably wouldn't work as well with the offset angle vag probes. Josh Copel

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
