R: Changing MCA waveforms-picsFrom: Andrea Corda (acord@tin.it)Sat Nov 11 03:50:41 2000
Did it ever happen to you to notice changing MCA waveforms (diastolic flow) in synchrony with the mother's breathing movements when there are one or two tight loops of cord around the fetus' neck? Next time I'll be able to make such an observation (which of course has its phisiological explanation) I'll try to send a video. Sorry for the patient's names left in the pictures-I forgot to erase them. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
