Re: Changing MCA waveforms-picsFrom: Terry J DuBose (tjdubose@juno.com)Sat Nov 11 03:12:01 2000
Couldn't sleep tonight, so have been browsing some of our old Case Studies.... we have some good images and cases. I did notice that Dr. Kumar's interesting case states at the very bottom: "Omer Kilavuz from Berlin has been most helpful and pointed out that the reason could be sonologist induced.(Transducer pressure in thin subjects). I thank Omer Kilavuz immensly for enlightening me ( he also sent me pictures to prove his point). If I remember correctly, Art Fougner agreed this was possible, while Terry Dubose had his doubts. " http://www.obgyn.net/us/present/0005/kumar1.htm However, I would point out that I did not doubt the observations, but found them unusual and interesting. My entire comment follows. "I agree that this observation deserves more study. Has anyone published this observation before? I don't recall ever seeing anything about such quick changes in the MCA resistance. Very interesting. " http://forums.obgyn.net/ultrasound/ULTRASOUND.0006/0002.html Thanks for the participation... Peace, Terry J DuBose, M.S., RDMS Little Rock, Arkansas USA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
