Informal Case: Banana-shaped Cerebellum at 13 weeks

Nice images Allen I usually look at the cerebellum while performing TV scans for nuchal translucency-I tend to do it at the 13th week using Dr.Hutchon's software-and it usually looks banana shaped (TCD 12 mm).If you do it at an earlier stage(12 weeks) you get a quite shorter diameter (9 mm) with something that doesn't look like a cerebellum but more like two round blebs arising posteriorly from the midbrain ,inside the cisterna magna.Noticing the interest aroused,I shall post some images. Andrea

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
