Odp: PREGNANCY vaginal and regular ultra soundFrom: =?iso-8859-2?Q?Jaros³aw_M._Musielak?= (jaroslawmusielak@poczta.wp.pl)Fri Nov 3 03:50:18 2000
Dear Susan, According to last menstruation (Sept.10th) the well growing embryo should be shown by transvaginal sonography. So, there is the high possibility that Your daughter's pregnancy is ectopic (e.g. in oviductal tube). Ectopic preg. is quite difficult to be shown in US exam. I think: - the serial blood tests (beta-HCG) will be helpfull; - untill the diagnosis isn't sure - Your daughter should be in close touch with her doc please, keep inform us Jaroslaw M. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
