Twins - AnencephalicFrom: K.Killough (KathyKilo@excite.com)Thu Nov 2 09:01:47 2000
Hello I scanned a patient yesterday, pregnant with twins, 25wks by LMP and by measurments. The presenting baby appears normal. The second baby is anencephalic. They appear to be diamnionic monochorionic, with a posterior placenta. There is no indication of TTT. I am looking for literature regarding such a situation. Specifically follow-up, need for intervention, and delivery. Thanks, Kathy Killough RDMS Evansville, IN Remember: You don't stop laughing because you grow old...... you grow old because you stop laughing _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! -- _______________________________________________________ http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
