PREGNANCY vaginal and regular ultra soundFrom: Susan Brennan (irisrose@ptd.net)Wed Nov 1 05:53:14 2000
My 19 year daughter is having cramping and last period was Sept 10th.Blood and Urine tests both are possitive for pregnancy. . Now the thing is shes having alot of lower right side cramping. The Dr. ordered a Vaginal ultraspound, well in turn it showed nothing, no baby. Then in turn right then and there gave her water to drink waited a bit, then did a regular ultra sound still nothing. Now the cramping is still there and getting harder as the days goes by. Yesturday she had two pains in her lower back right side, and her face turned red. No blood show yet. My question is, can a fetus this early be seen. Or is she on the verge of a miscarriage or could it be an atopic pregnancy, they want to do a blood test today to check a level to see if she will miscarry ... Thank you .
