The digital collections of the UAMS Library Historical Research Center provide access to selected archival materials related to the history of UAMS and the history of health sciences in Arkansas.

UAMS Library Offering Historical Research Center Digital Collections

The UAMS Library now offers the Historical Research Center Digital Collections Web site, available at http://libcontentdm.uams.edu/HRCDigitalCollections.htm. The HRC digital collections site provides access to selected archival materials related to the history of UAMS and the history of health sciences in Arkansas.

"Images of Health Sciences in Arkansas History," the first digital collection to appear on the Web site, contains 400 images from the Historical Research Center's photograph collection with more to be added. Future digital collections on the Web site will include images of artifacts and documents held by the Historical Research Center.

The HRC welcomes donations or reproductions of materials related to the history of health sciences in Arkansas. For more information, contact Suzanne Easley, archivist, at easleymyra@uams.edu or Amanda Saar, head of the Historical Research Center, at SaarAmandaE@uams.edu.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
