Re: Dr. Woo's Web Site Down?

Dr. Woo, glad to hear your wonderful web site will be back up soon. It is an important contribution to our profession's history.

Actually the woman who called me was Dr. George Ludwig's eldest daughter.

As to a photo of George Ludwig, she said she had turned over her best photo of him to "someone" who was connected to the large history of ultrasound meeting (WFUMB/AIUM/SDMS) held in Washington DC in 1988; which, unfortunately, was the last meeting sponsored jointly by the AIUM & SDMS. It was at that meeting that Kodak published a history magazine and a display was installed at the Smithsonian Institution. She was disappointed that the original photograph was never returned and now appears to be lost. The only copy seems to be on the AIUM History Web site ... other than those in textbooks.

Looking forward to you web site again. Terry

The website should be back up again in the next few days. It was down because of a lapse of payment to the hosting provider!

It was great news to hear from the sister of George Ludwig. Can you ask her to provide, if possible a bio and ?pictures of Dr. Ludwig so that I can post on the website?

Much thanks,

Joseph.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
