I just had an interesting phone call from George Ludwig's eldest daughter asking about Dr. Woo's wonderful History of Ultrasound Web site. She wanted to print out the part that discussed her father's contribution to the invention of sonography. While he was in the Navy in the 1940's Dr. Ludwig did some of the earliest research and publication on Ultrasound in the human body (see: http://www.aium.org/aboutAIUM/timeline/1950.asp) Does anyone know if Dr. Woo's web site is down temporarily or is it permanently gone... it would be a real tragedy to not have his web site available. Any information appreciated. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
