THANK YOU SO MUCH I AM CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST I HAVE MDRD,FRCR FROM LONDON IN EACH PLACE I WORK IN SAUDI I AM PUSHED TO WORK IN PRENATAL ULTRASOUND MORE THAN 20 CASES PER/DAY Sue Davies <sue@aiu.edu.au> wrote: v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);}o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);}w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);}.shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);}st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } Hi Jose I concur with Terry. I am from Australia and from experience (not formal research) I also feel that 2 per hour is too much if it is sustained. 18 week morphology studies need a minimum of 45 minutes and if the pregnancy is abnormal this extends to however long it takes to make a diagnosis. Twins need twice as long and difficult third trimester studies can be as much of a time consumer. The quality of work in the best of departments can easily & quickly degrade if the operator is rushed and under time pressure. There is no substitute for a high index of suspicion and this is very hard to maintain in the presence of constant overbooking. Sad but true! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
