Im interested in obstetrics. I have no children but miscarried three and one born alive but he passed away two hours after birth. This may be part of my interest. My main reason is because I want to make a difference and I care so much about pregnancies and how the first few years of a child are lived. I especially want to work with high risk patients and help make a dream come true. I'm afraid I can't achieve this dream of mine of becoming an obstetrician one day. I didn't finish school because I have been married since I was 15. I finally got my GED but is this enough to get into the basic classes of ob? I know I'm smart, and if Im interested in delivering babies, Im willing to learn everything I can to be a good ob doctor. I need someone to help by telling me on how to start and what can I do right now to get all the testing that needs to be done> I dont plan to go ask at a university until next year.Im 19 and I turn 20 in nov. thanks for your reply!
