Hey I'm a pre-med student and I work part time in an OB/GYN unit. The best class I ever took in high school was Anatomy and Physiology. If your school has that get into it. Also Some high schools have a Medical Technology class. I'm sure that would be helpful. Other than that just make sure you do well in the rest of your core science classes. If you're really serious you can call local hospitals/clinics and ask if you can volunteer or shadow a physician. That will give you a good indication of what medicine is really like and if it's for you. Since your just a freshmen though you have plenty of time to take it easy. Keep your grades up but don't get to caught up in the future and forget to have some fun. feel free to email me if ya have any questions.
