I worked about 6 months with the Sun Java Web Server (aka Jeeves). It handled java servlets very nicely and the servlets ran very fast compared to the same Perl modules. For the JDE we used Visual Cafe from Symantec but I hate the code editor but the rest of the JDE is very nice.
