Hello, IMHO I still think that a 32MB (not to speak of the 64MB) double speed HP 200LX is of much more use for a doctor than the Jornada 680. It supports Ethernet network connections, http://www browser, can be used for hours of work and will do anything the Jornada 680 does + much more. The WIN CE 2.11 is far form being a mature platform and limits you into using only a few programs. The DOS emulation is not of much use, I've tried it and it is slow (in theory one would need a 300 MHz processor to run DOS at the 14MHz of the 200LX - this would make the Jornada red hot and the batteries flat in notime). The WIN CE machines spend a lot of energy and resources just for running the operation system. I am only afraid, that M$ forces batteries to be Windows-compatible (e.i. unusable). The Jornada 680 is probably a good choice for someone, who wants to run a limited version of M$ Office with a lot of long text typing. For such work I still think that a HP Omnibook 425 (with full sized keyboard, non backlit LCD and 8 hours run on one charge or with 4 AA batteries is also a good 300 $ option).Wishing all on the list a lovely day
