Yes, good advice, messages which are distributed to a list of subscribers should be sent in plain text and not MIME. This also means NOT sending email attachments like word documents to an entire list. For documents, send them to me first and I will put them up on a FTP server which can then be referenced. (note: some mailers don't call it MIME but rather HTML, don't send messages in HTML)

technology....The origin of the Dragon Dictate review was a conversation I had with Ed Zabrak and Geff Levy while at ACOG in May. We decided then that this was an important technology, especially given the upcoming Medical Suite, to present to our OBGYN.net community of medical professionals. Ed followed up this conversation by obtaining the software and has begun to use it along with submitting reviews to this forum. Note, we approached them and not the other way around. This is not a paid or unpaid product advertisement but a regular technology presentation by Dr. Zabrak and OBGYN.net.
Also please note that Steve Spratt immediately followed up his message which contained marketing material with an apology that he hadn't realized he was replying to the entire list.
That is an easy mistake to make because most of the discussion lists we have setup on OBGYN.net are configured to default to replying to the list so as to keep the conversation threads going. Occasionally that causes a message to go to the list that should have been private.
I hope this message clears up any confusion that may have happenned. Regards, Bruce
