STAT Cardiac Risk for Palm OS

I would like to invite Palm OS users to download and use STAT Cardiac Risk, a free application that implements the Framingham Risk Scores to determine the absolute and relative risk of coronary heart disease.Input paramaters are: age, sex, systolic BP, diastolic BP, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, smoking, and diabetes status. The absolute risk for coronary heart disease during the next 10 years is calculated as well as a comparision to average risk.
Many clinicians are surprised that, given the multifactorial nature of heart disease, many women who have significantly elevated cholesterol are low risk when no other risk factors are present.
