My apology for the code mess. I was trying to email a HTML snippet as an example but the mailers of course want to process the HTML and not just display it. If anybody wants to see it better go to http://forums.obgyn.net/techtalk/TECHTALK.00/0036.html

The whole point of this message (which I should have said in the original message) is about intellectual property and how people are getting more and more serious about protecting it on the Internet. This is simply an example of a web site, and there are many, that have gone to the extent & extra bother to put javascript code into their pages to make it very difficult or impossible to display their page from the frame of somebody elses page.

Since this is the techtalk forum I like sending in examples of emerging technology trends including their impact on society and culture. For example, one of the indisputable "killer apps" that has emerged out of the Internet is Napster and now virtually the entire music industry is trying to shut it down. This is a bellwether for future Intellectual Property versus society issues that are emerging on the Internet. Another example here in the US are the Internet companies (etoys.com, toysrus.com, etc.) that are being sold or valued simply to buy their registered user data and now all the lawsuits that have emerged over that.

I'd love it if somebody else on the techtalk list jumped in.
