Boy Joe, were you not kidding. I have never seen so many requirements!!!
Prerequisites: To install the Microsoft Healthcare SDK, you will need to have either Microsoft Windows NT® Server 4.0 Service Pack 4, or Microsoft Windows® 2000. The following products are also required: - Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 - Microsoft SQL ServerTM 7.0 Service Pack 1 - Microsoft Windows NT Option Pack: - Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0 with SMTP - Microsoft Transaction Server - Microsoft Message Queue - Microsoft Visual Studio® 6.0 Service Pack 3 - specifically Visual Basic® and Visual C++® - BizTalk Jumpstart Kit (JSK) Downloads: - The BizTalk Jumpstart Kit can be found at http://www.biztalk.org/Resources/tools.asp - MSMQ Triggers can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/NTServer/appservice/downloads/management/MSMQ_developer.asp

It did say on the web page:
" The Microsoft® Healthcare SDK is a framework for developing applications for the Healthcare industry. The documents, sample applications, and other technical resources describe a development framework for application interoperability based on the interchange of loosely coupled messages. The first version of the kit addresses the transaction set developed as part of HIPAA. "
Obviously it is an XML application and series of XML templates but it would be very interesting to see the XML data definitions and SDK functions.
Good question, sorry I can't answer it. I don't have a couple of days to build a system just to install this and read about it like you.
