Dear Bruce,

Hello! My name is Michael and I am writing to you on behalf of America Online in response to your e-mail. Thank you very much for writing!

To get the latest news and information about AOL for Windows 2000, I recommend that you visit Keyword:

WIN2000

AOL for Windows 2000 is currently in research and development. In the late summer, AOL expects to release a new version of the software designed for networking computers such as Windows 2000 and Windows NT.

To receive updates about the new AOL version for Windows 2000 and Windows NT please use the NOTIFY ME button at Keyword: WIN2000

If you need assistance because you are experiencing problems with the Windows 2000 program itself, or need information about Windows 2000, please visit the Microsoft Web site for technical assistance: http://support.microsoft.com

OPERATING SYSTEMS THAT CURRENTLY WORK WITH AOL:

Windows 95 and Windows 98 will work with AOL 4.0 and AOL 5.0.

When attempting to use AOL 4.0 or AOL 5.0 with Windows NT or Windows 2000, you may have trouble with browsing the Web or accessing other areas of the service.

If you are considering an upgrade to Windows 2000, keep in mind that it is an upgrade for Windows NT, not for Windows 98. Visit the Microsoft Web site for more information on who should use Windows 2000:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/guide/professional/overview/default.asp

NOTE: For information on new portable AOL versions, please visit Keyword:

If you are chosen for beta testing you will be notified by e-mail.

Based upon the new connectivity and functionality being tested, members are selected for beta testing to match the desired test profiles.

Thank you for your interest in helping us improve America Online!

Thank you for taking the time to write to America Online. Please, feel free to write back anytime with questions or comments that you may have concerning America Online. It has been my pleasure assisting you. Have a wonderful day! :-)
