DR. CHUDACOFF:
Start Word 2000 and select Help, About. If it doesn't show 9.0.4119 SR-1 then you should apply the newest SR-1 update.
I also recommend you run the Windows Update and see if you have the latest updates to Windows 2000.
I notice you are sending from a Mac on a Road Runner connection - houston.rr.com. [FWIW, I have both austin.rr.com and ADSL at my home, but I also have 8 systems on a LAN!]
If the Windows 2000 system is also online with a fast connection, both the Windows Updates and the SR-1(A) update can be done interactively online.
However, we have the 54 MegaByte "monolithic" Office 2000 SR-1a download at the office and can send it to you on a CD if you wish.
Thanks,
