I think we should monitor the section. I will be willing. We should make it general medical and non-medical technology, not restricted to OBGYN, since other MEDISPECIALTIES (.com )will be participating..
I definitely think that we should change the banner on the nome page to FreshTech, and the forum TechTalk This might disuade some responders from sending us pap smear and pregnancy question, (as well as topless 12 year olds embarrassing experiences with their pediatrician, and home pap tests.
******If that answer is reasonable, ie software developer, engineer, physician, etc., you're in. That would allow free communication among a focused group. If putting sand in the gears means that we not read what has been posted already, I'' m all for that. A focused list should be a focused group.******This is the group I think we should be attracting. We want to bring in new tech trends from all walks of life (medical and non-medical). For example, in the coming months, I will be reviewing Escort Radar detectors. This is a technology that all physicians want, use and are interested in. At the end of the month, I am going to PC Expo in NYC. I will be looking for new, exciting technologies that should be appearing on shelves in the Xmas timeframe. I will be concentrating on PDA's, wireless technologies, and voice recognition. These are technologies that all techno-savy physicians (from all specialties) and non-physicians are watching closely.
I also agree with the statement below:
I don't think we intended it to be that narrow. focused on topics of interest like wireless PDAs and medical records systems but it somebody asked a programming question that would be OK too in my opinion.
