Scientifically, makes no sense to be but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. The mucus of ovulation is a product of hormonal changes that set the stage for conception. Not sure how exogenous (taken into the body from outside the body) egg whites can migrate to just the right place in the endocervix to allow faster transport for sperm.
