Now that I have been given the OK by the DR to get pregnant both me and my husband have become sick. Just common cold for me and flu like symptoms for my husband. This may be a stupid question, but I have seen it asked here before with no answer. If we are sick are our eggs/sperm unhealthy? Can us being sick and getting pregnant cause any birth defects or disease to the infant?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated for peace of mind.
