This can be very normal and we even discussed this recently that occasionally multiple birth start out slowly with betas.

Doubling every 2-3 days is what we look for. There is a wide range of normals.

Depending upon the method of transfer, there may be and increased risk of ectopic. The slow start with appropriate doubling doesn't seem to increase the risk.

Cramping can be very normal. Spotting can occur in up to 50% of pregnancies and since the average miscarriage rate is about 20%, the majority of people who stain carry their pregnancies.
