Currently I am 17dpt on my first IVF cycle. We did a 3 day transfer of 3 8 cell embryos, all 3 good quality. My first Beta on 11dpt came back with HCG level of 18, on 13dpt a 48, and 16dpt a 221. I know my levels are rising appropriately, but I am wondering what causes the low start? Also, I looked at many HCG level tables on the internet, and it seems that I am way behind. Does that make a difference, or is it ok as long as they double every 2 days? Am I at a higher risk for an ectopic pregnancy because of the low start? Also I am spotting with some mild cramping, is that something I need to be worried about? Thanks for your help!
