32 weeks, bicornuate, 50% effaced and 1 cm dialated........From: Sela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 18 Dec 1999 11:42:19 -0600 (CST)
I have a bicornuate uterus and am carrying in my left horn. I have been 50% effaced since my 27 week appt. At my 30 week appt, I was still 50%, my cervix was soft and I was 1 cm dialated. I have an irritable uterus and experience lots of braxton hicks. I have been off work since 12/8 and I am not having as many cramps and braxton hicks. Am I more than likely to deliver early? (I know that women with bicornuate uteri usually do, but I'm feeling so good....I can't help but hope I will make it to term!) My midwife didn't check my cervix at my last appt because my symptoms have very much decreased. (Was hospitalized twice with irritability) I was having 6-7 contractions in an hour but now have about 4-5. I have had 2 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy and am happy to have made it this far!!!
