Re: Clomid and PregnancyFrom: AnnMarie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 17 Dec 1999 22:55:13 -0600
I was on Clomid a few months quite some time ago. Unfortunately, I never conceived then. I am 11 weeks preg now, but we still don't know why it never happened sooner. Anyways, when I was on the Clomid, my doctor prescribed for days 5-9 also. I work in a pharmacy and have seen it prescribed both ways, but perhaps a few more say days 5-9 around here. It could be just your doctor's personal preference, maybe something s/he considered about your cycle, or even just a trend for your particular area. Either way from days 3-7 or 5-9 is normal. I'm sure Dr. M or somebody may be able to add their own 2-cents worth on this. Or has the price gone up? ;) AM -----Original Message----- I am on my 3rd month of 50mg. of Clomid. As of yet I have not concieved. In reading messages, I see most doctors prescribe it from day 3-7. Mine has me taking it on day 5-9. Is this normal? We really want to have a baby and are looking for any advice. We do not have the funds to do ivf or anything else. Please let me know if there is any other medication I could take also. Thanks, Tricia Marble<lostallmarbles@yahoo.com
