Early spotting could have been because of low lying placenta. With pregnancy advancing more so in your case since it has probably already gone up( low marginal), the chances that you will bleed is negligible, by all probability it will be in the upper segment when you get your repeat Scan done at 32 wks. I agree with your Doc. You may take some precaution, there is no harm to be safe. Consult your Yoga teacher on the nature/posture of the yoga, you can travel but wait for another 2-3 weeks until 18-20 weeks---safe period.
