With modern surgical techniques and safe anaesthesia, any major surgery if mandatory can be undertaken. Consult your ENT doctor about the risk as he thinks depends...???..the type of surgery and other variables. Avoid if possible all the medicines , if not possible, choose the safe ones. All the best
