Intermittent low blood sugar should be a problem but constant loow blood sugar may reduce the babies energy supply. No studies on this however.

More likely later on when the baby's requirements are greater.

Yup. that 's exactly why I wrote my original response about a nutritionist and preventing the problem "to set meal plans and exchanges to reduce the potential hypoglycemia".

I doesn't sound like you have diabetes as much as you have reactive hypoglycemia.
