Hi Chris,

I'm the Amy who wrote the message about getting the RhoGam shot during pregnancy. I just thought I'd tell you that they didn't even ask about my husband's Rh status or test it. It was my impression that doctors automatically give the injection to Rh negative mothers, assuming that the father is positive--probably just for the reason you stated...because you can never be sure about paternity.

I'm glad they did because my son did turn out to be Rh positive...

I just thought you were full of good questions and figured I'd reply.
