I need some expert advice. I gave birth to my second child on 8-18-99. 2 weeks after her birth I developed a uterine infection and received an antibiotic injection. 1 week later I began passing very large clots (grapefruit size) and gushing of blood. This continued for 2 weeks. When I went back to my doctor they did not seem very concerned and basically dismissed me. Since that time I have continued to bleed and pass small clots of tissue. There is also a ammonia odor. Should I be concerned? I do not want to feel like an idiot again if I go back to my doctor. Thanks Michelle
