This is not a problem for the population at large. Rare problems may, I'm sure, occur.

Nope. RhoGam works to prevent the mother's body from recognizing the fetal cells at the time they are found in the maternal circulation. This "camouflage" prevents the mom from producing antibodies to the babies blood cells.
