I had an ultrasound done at 6.5 weeks and we saw a heartbeat. Went in yesterday at 8 weeks and the dr. couldn't find the heartbeat anymore. He wasn't very optimistic about it. Did some bloodwork and scheduled another ultrasound in 1 week, but told me that the baby had probably died. The sac is measuring 8 weeks - Is it possible that they just missed the heartbeat this time? Has anyone else had this happen and then had a good outcome? Still having all the same symptoms of pregnancy. I'm trying to stay positive but its very hard. Thanks.
