I did some thinking and decided to call a neurologist on my own and make an appointment. The numbness has been getting much worse and I just can not believe that this is all in my head. I'm very worried about falling as my pregnancy progresses and I feel that I need to be fully tested for neurological disorders before my OB decides I am just crazy. I have been uncomfortable with this OB for quite some time. I made an appointment with a new one for next week, so hopefully I will be happier with my care. It really helped to know that another doctor would indeed feel my condition merited a referral to a neurologist. I found it interesting that you said you would refer me to someone who specializes in high risk pregnancies, because my OB told me that I am not high risk and am not suffering any complications.
